Philippines’ K12 Program: Four Senior High Career TracksK12 Program have different tracks, these tracks my help us in preparation and deciding what courses will suit for us. Most of this students like me doesn’t know which course to choose in college. K12 Program help us to enhance our skills and capability and this article explaining about the process of K12 Program. In Senior High School they are four categories of tracks, these are Academic, Arts and Design, Sports, and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) and you must take extra care in making a choice. Many students and parents still unaware of a details about a new curriculum in our country. This article gave us a few details about K12 Program. General academic strand or gas is a course or strand that are willing to pursue in education or to be a teacher in future. This strand is also for the students that are still undecided for their courses and in this strand helps you in your college life. And in general studies does not focus in one specific paths only but rather it surround in many fields and many opportunities. Because the general studies program covers subjects that are not industry specific, graduates are qualified to work in any field, provided they possess the knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential tasks of the job. Ready or not, K-to-12 curriculum starts
k to 12 program is very helpful to the students because if they finished high school it is okey if they get some job because the another 2 year in high school will improve your skill and your talent.But it have a negative part in that program because it is expensive to the other specially the students that study at public schools and the facilities will be less because of the k to 12 program. but the DEPED have a budget for this program and they can provide some facilities. Despite all these problems, DepEd Secretary Luistro is positive the K to 12 is the right step towards getting education right. He acknowledges that teacher training will take years, and the new curriculum remains a work in progress. Benefits of the K 12 curriculum for Filipino students. This article gave some information about the benefits of new curriculum. Many students didn't know the benefits of k-12 program. The advantage of new curriculum are it help us to increase our skills and it's easily to get a job, because of the higher quality of education. But all we know that our country aren't prepared of the new curriculum, because many of in Philippines school don't have a tools and laboratory for k to 12 program. Many of parents aren't agree in new curriculum, because they're not know the benefits of it.
